Re: Rogue R4

I had emailed them about the need to bolt to the floor on 27 Mar.

On 28 I got the following response:

Dave,

Louie Simmons bolts all of his racks to three pieces of 3/4" plywood glued and...

Re: Any Prolo or Platelet Rich Plasma Testimonials?

But how can you possibly find the best doctor for a procedure? Usually not covered by insurance, so I can't afford to find someone who's learned how but isn't an expert.

Is there an independent...

Re: Any Prolo or Platelet Rich Plasma Testimonials?

Did you ever find out more info on Prolotherapy? It's something I've been thinking about for quite awhile.

Over a year-and-a-half ago I was diagnosed with a partial rotator tear (MRI w/dye). A...

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

My wife not so much!:yikes:

Not too many trees here, or at least conveniently located. We're putting in a pool next spring, so I'm hesitant to put any permanent structure in the back...

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

AH! Since I'd seen "Add on" next to that product's name, I thought that was an add-on option for the full rack.

That is definitely a doable price, but I don't think I'm ready to mount something...

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

Looks like entry cost is $1600, and goes north from there. Certainly looks nice, though.

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

Hi Shane,

That's a pretty good idea, but I'm always worried my un-handiness will be the end of me! Well, with good plans I'm pretty sure I can get 'er done, but does wood really make a sturdy...

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

Hi Allan,

I went to TorqueAthletic's site. That Mod 3 rack looks incredible!! Unfortunately, it's a little too spendy for me right now--the pullup/chinup-only bars look pretty cool, too, but the...

Re: Pullup Rack Recommendation

I was looking into racks, and most seem to be as short as, if not shorter than, those Power Towers (chinup/dip stations).

TDS makes a 90" tall rack, but it's $$$ with their freight shipping rates....

Pullup Rack Recommendation

Moved to Phoenix, no tall trees relatively close to my house; no basement at all; garage has no exposed beams, and will probably be using hanging storage in there anyway (to make up for lack of...

Your source for bulk grains/legumes?

I know you can find things at Bob's Red Mill, but does anyone have a supplier who's simply so large that there's only a VERY slim chance of product cross-contamination with other product types (wheat...

Re: Anyone have DIY thoughts on this...

Thanks, all! The whiteboard idea makes perfect sense.

As far as hurting my knees, I'll have to be very, very careful, and progress up very slowly.

Just looks fun to me, and the DIY route is...

Re: Rogue Rings and Bar, Up Close

Ah ha!!! I just got the bar--no instructions for the equipment.

Thankfully, the hangers ARE strong enough

I will now try the bar in the manner it was designed. Oh, and thanks a ton for...

Re: Rogue Rings and Bar, Up Close

Just to give you another idea on how rings can be used outside of normal ring work, I fully plan on putting together two smaller straps to use these rings for weight lifting work (low cable rows,...

Re: Cost for Home Gym?

My basement gym was initially created for bodybuilding rather than crossfit/olympic-style lifts, so my photos probably wouldn't do to much for you--think half-rack, FID bench, bunch of metal weights...

Favorite Slow Cooker Cookbooks?

Who has a favorite, go-to slow cooker cookbook? I'm in the market :D

Also, if you know of, or use, a good steam cooker cookbook, I'd like to hear about that, too.

Thanks!
