Re: SS diet and acne

Just saying. There is little motivation in the medical world to prove Acne is a dietary based issue.

That's why you don't see any well-funded or well-executed studies on it.

Re: Deadlift: Snatch grip vs. Overhand

I started using the hook grip for my deads two weeks ago,

and instantly added 15lbs over my previous 1RM PR.

Granted I made my left thumb bleed,

but it was worth it.

EDIT - Forgot to...

But I guess that's a personal choice.

My advice? No grains. Ever.

You'll have a healthier and better life. Grains are not...

Re: SS diet and acne

And that doesn't even begin to touch on the fact that it's in the medical field's best interest that Acne remains unconnected to diet.

Dietary based acne = No selling benzoyl peroxide, no...

Re: Is "So Delicious" Coconut Milk O.K. for Paleo?

The only additive that's not a vitamin is the Guar Gum.... Since it's just an additive, and it's free of any Dairy/Gluten/Soy, I don't really see it having any sort of significance.

Just my...

Re: Is "So Delicious" Coconut Milk O.K. for Paleo?

The unsweetened is paleo safe.

Re: Deadlift: Snatch grip vs. Overhand

I'm about to do a reset, so I used the hook grip to test my true 1RM.

15 pounds heavier than my last PR.

Very happy about that.

The grip did cause my thumb to bleed though... haha.

Re: Deadlift: Snatch grip vs. Overhand

Re: Slightly bigger elite runner, and a discussion on strength and endurance

Raw endurance typically requires specified training that leaves little room for strength goals.

That's why most of your endurance athletes, like you said, weight around 135 pounds.

1500 calories is really low for an active person, even for a tiny one like you.

Re: "Barefoot" work/casual shoes - SALE

Yah, what the hell is that. $14 for shipping some shoes?

I think you're paying 108 for the shoes and 4 for shipping.

Re: Squats, Deadlifts and Bench Press - Natural movements?

Oh and let this guy ignore the big four lifts, fight a little more MMA, play a little more football, and you'll be wishing you had once you go up against a guy with some REAL strength.
