Re: Burn fat while gaining strength possible?
A little bit of love handle isn't really the problem I don't think. At 6'1" and 165 you are primarily under muscled. If you add 20lbs of muscle to your frame you probably wouldn't care that you...

Re: High calorie paleo meals?
Stir fry and then throw in some Coconut Milk and Tahini paste and some Coconut Aminos. It's pretty amazing.
Maybe some red pepper flakes too.

Re: Swiss Bars
I have one from black widow. It is indeed a hollow sleeve and a little smaller diameter so a normal collar is too loose. I use the HG collars on it and the bar itself is great and very solid.

They feel like hell but a lot better than doing it with a smaller crossbar. Try loading up 550 on a barbell and unracking it and feel it digging into your back... then imagine you had a crossbar...

Re: Knee crunching with straight feet in squat
1. Band distraction on the ankle works great. Distract with the band then stretch it through a full range of motion. Try and sit down in a squat as well.
2. PNF stretch the calves by putting the...

Re: Pulling rope
Poly is a little bit more slippery but weathers better and doesn't shed or give you splinters.
Manila is a better grip but sheds and can give splinters if it gets dried out.
I think the manila is a...

Re: Ideas for pulling the dogsled
Pulling hand over hand? Or tying it to your waist and pulling?
I use a cheap tow strap for pulling while walking. 10-20 bucks at wal mart.
To pull hand over hand a 1.5" 15ft with a hook for...

^^Yes. False grip generally helps. Make sure the bar is near the base of your palm though. If you have it too far towards the fingers you will flex the wrist too much and they have a tendency to...

Re: RockTape Knee Caps are out.
I wore a Medium in the TK's and got a Large in the Eleiko's. My wife wore a Small in the TK's and got a XS in the Eleiko's. So I don't know, we just did the measurements and ordered by that.

Re: HUGE sale for pendlay kg bumpers right now
Thanks for the heads up. I picked up an extra set of 25kg plates. They're 55lbs anyway so who cares that they say 25kg. At this price it makes them cheaper than ordering regular 45 iron plates.

Re: Choosing the right kettlebell
