Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I can certainly understand why she would want cash up front...lots of divorce settlements detail alimony payments etc that never get made.

I'm not a tax expert...but even assuming that the 40% is...

Re: Bryan Kelly / Anthos Hire Wall-street PR Firm

The counterclaim contained an interesting tidbid...apparently Anthos offered to buy Lauren out and then sell half those shares back to Greg (in the supposed interest of avoiding gridlock). This...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Even when a corporation faces a hostile takeover, the business judgment rule may not insulate its directors from liability. In Revlon v. MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings, 506 A.2d 173 (Del. 1985), the...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Devin, I could shed some light on that. If anyone becomes an owner of any part of CrossFit Inc the officers of the corporation would then have a fiduciary responsibility to act in all shareholders...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Out of curiousity, did Lauren enter in to this agreement prior to filing for divorce? I'm not an attorney (didn't even stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night)...but this seems to only cover what...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Yep, I'm a stockbroker (in addition to other things). The problem is that I cannot imagine this NMEP having any interest in selling her shares on the micro level. Apparently HQ has offered her more...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I have seen more than my fair share of estates mangled by divorce...hopefully there isn't some sort of desire by the NMEP to do lasting damage to CrossFit out of spite. Has Anthos has offered a...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I don't know anything about Anthos, but I have done significant work with hedge funds and private equity groups. Every single one that I worked with was interested in only one thing: ROI (return on...

Rack -> Ground -> Rack vs. Ground -> lock out -> ground

I think this is kind of splitting hairs...but on a TnG lift most people dont usually let the bar come to a complete rest in it's lowest...

Re: What shoe to get?

I love my Inov8 F195's...the most comfortable show I have ever worn...I wear them everywhere.

I have Merrill trail-gloves and KSO-vibrams gathering dust in my closet.

I do love my Risto lifting...

Re: Compression Gear

Re: Double Unders Question about my progress

Work on really slow singles with a high jump. If you can't do 50 slow singles, you wont be able to do 50 doubles.

Fully extend your arms and point the handles down. My biggest impediment was...

Re: Review of bumpers?(help needed, not advice given)

My Troy VTX are a slightly larger diameter than my iron 45s. Definetely a nice benefit when dropping on concrete.

Re: Review of bumpers?(help needed, not advice given)

Hi-temp 10s and 15s are pretty wobbly when used on their own and this can (and has) led to structural failure. The 25s and 45s have been bullet proof at our box. The 45's are fat. Not sure how...

Re: Affiliate Programming-Best Out There

I think the metrics comment was meant to say that if you only tested those 1RMs and your Fran time at the end or each six week period of time, your data would be inconclusive.

I don't believe it was...

Re: First Muscle up Video

I think this is the woman that can do 20 strict pullups weighted with 50lbs...strength shouldn't be an issue...

A little kinesthetic awareness in the transition and she should be pretty solid :-)

Re: aesthetics-bias CrossFit

She is without a doubt strong. She is without a doubt attractive.

The squats, bench and press are short ROM and would be no rep'd at any CrossFit comp (hopefully any box as well).

A rounded back...

Re: Exercise competition rules

Each year it seems they adjust standards with the goal to make judging easier (good intention, mixed execution)

Standards from 2011:

Muscle-up:
This is a standard ring muscle-up. The arms must be...
