Re: No access to a barbell for thrusters... substitutions?

Re: Starting up....

Definately look into Paleo diet. Also, if strength is a concern, you can check out MEBB. That would help you at least maintain if not increase your strength while still doing metcon and working on...

It's a little pricey, but you may want to invest in Zach Even-esh's Bodyweight University DVDs.

Re: New to CF

Jordan is right in saying that Paleo is about quality while Zone is about quantity. In my opinion quaility is more important and the Zone should then be used to improve on a high quality diet. ...

Re: Fitness Conduit

Don

MEBB is CF, it just focuses more on strength development than the mainsite does.

If you are really interested in the olympic lifts, you may want to check out Catalyst Athletics, which post...

Re: Strength training and CrossFit?

Joe,

Some great advice has been given here so far, Crossfit Strength Bias, MEBB, and Crossfit Football are great ways to go.

However, something else you may want to consider is strongman training. ...

Re: Crossfit and weight training

Kelvin,

I think everyone here is hitting on an important point that you will need adequate rest in order to make sure you are making the gains you desire. I would, however, encourage you to not...

Re: On days I'm not doing CrossFit?
