RingsTraining.com First Gen Rings replacement strap?

I bought a pair of the 1rst generation rings (metal with red straps) back in 2005, but now one of the straps is worn down. I was going to purchase some 1" nylon strapping, remove the old and sew the...

Re: Pain in right foot on the inside below ankle

I have an odd history with my right foot that I will try to remember as best as I can here. When I was young (5th grade) I would regularly have severe pain occur when I was running (soccer,...

Re: Pain in right foot on the inside below ankle

Okay two pictures attached and I have circled the areas where I am having pain. The pain is mostly in the bottom portion of the red areas. The pain doesn't really occur while running (at least not...

Pain in right foot on the inside below ankle

Not sure if this would be considered Plantar fasciitis because it is not on the bottom of my foot. I pronate, especially on my right foot. As a child I was told by the podiatrist to use inserts...

Re: More Education: NSCA, ACSM, ISSA?

Katherine, you are right. The way I phrased that, I did have it backwards. The CF methods have seriously helped me develop a greater level of fitness, however if I would like to help as many people...

Re: More Education: NSCA, ACSM, ISSA?

Thanks for the good points Leonid. I partially agree, and didn't really state my point that well. Yes, education is a way of life, "hands on", it is not simply a class or certification. I am a...

Re: More Education: NSCA, ACSM, ISSA?

Re: More Education: NSCA, ACSM, ISSA?

I knew the NSCA required a 4-year degree, but I don't think it has to be in exercise science. I thought it could be any BA or BS. The NSCA sites states "Registrants must submit an original, official...

More Education: NSCA, ACSM, ISSA?

My education background is in the arts and business, not sports, health or fitness. I am learning a great deal about programming, nutrition, technique, etc. through the CF Journal, CF Board and the...
