Re: It has been a long time...

Jordan,
Thanks for the response. I have had the 200/300/400/500 numbers since college, but the 300/400/500/600 I have never attained. I also train Martial Arts, and that is my first priority. I...

It has been a long time...

I just came back to Crossfit today after a LONG lay off. I had a boat-load of injuries, and wanted to focus on strength. For the last two years, I trained "Dinosaur" style (Brooks Kubik). The...

Re: physique

Forget about Physique, worry about results. Your physique is mostly influenced by your genetics! If you are an ectomorph, you will ALWAYS be skinny, regardless of the program you train. Same goes...

Re: What exercises aren't part of crossfit programming, but you think should be?

I also would like to see short sprints (20-100 meters/ hills/ stairs/ tabatas, etc.) added to the wod. Occasionally I add them after the wod.

Re: Kettlebells

I am pleased with the cost and quality of the Power-systems KB's. As far as the competition KB's go, I personally don't like them. I would rather a thicker handle that you get on the PS and DD...

For the really lazy, just cut two pvc about 6-8 inches long and tie it off on a rope. Form a triangle shape.
I've had homemade ones like this for years!

I ordered from mine from power-systems. They are Chinese made (like almost everything else), but they do the job.
I am guessing that in a few years they will be selling kettlebells at Wal-mart.
