Re: Painted/vinyl lettering inside

I had someone paint it and it looks okay. I didn't do vinyl lettering because the wall was cinder blocks and I don't like the bubble look. I like the look but I didn't think about people doing wall...

Re: Rogue wall mount on metal studs

Hey Rich do you have a picture of your Rig mounted to the wall? I am running into the same problem. I was thinking of running 2x6 or 2x8's vertically. However, I would think it would be sturdier...

Re: Blueprint to build a dream garage box?

Thanks for the link. I read through the threads and it was neat to follow the construction. I'm going to have to do that for my garage box. I was thinking a little bit more elaborate though. 16...

Blueprint to build a dream garage box?

I was wondering if anyone has built a detached, garage home box and would share their ideas, plan with me? I was thinking of around 32 feet by 55 feet. Two small change rooms with a shower and...

Rogue Rig Outdoors

Does anyone have a Rogue Pull Rig outside and not covered up?

Is it going to rust and get ruined? Should I figure out a way to tarp it when I'm not using it? I'm sure the neighbours will love...

Re: Cyclone Speed Rope, Rx Jump Rope, SR-1 Speed Rope, etc.?

Bearings are faster than bushings. If you look closely at the pictures of the SR-1 and SR-3 the handles are a bit different. Get the SR-1 for the extra $5.

Re: Nano 3.0 Sizing Anyone?

I normally wear a 9 in Adidas and Nike so I ordered a 9 in the Nano 3.0. I find them a bit big and wish I had ordered the 8.5. The toe box is quite big and I feel like there is too much room. I...

Re: Equipment Opinions help!

How about the following Rogue stuff:

SR2 with pull up bar $425
Ohio Bar $282
Wood Rings $60
1.5 pood kettlebell $62.50

I have the SR2 and I like it a lot. Works well as a pull up bar too. ...

Re: Cyclone Speed Rope, Rx Jump Rope, SR-1 Speed Rope, etc.?

I have the Rogue SR-1, RX in 2 different thicknesses and 3 different lengths, and I have the Buddy Lee Aero Speed Rope. I prefer the Buddy Lee Rope and it happens to be the most expensive. The only...

Re: Level 1 Cert with only little lifting experience?

I took the Level 1 in July and I only really started Crossfit in Jan. I had never done snatch and hardly done any cleans when I took and passed. We covered snatch in the Level 1 but only for about...

Re: Crossfit Equipment Packages

I bought some cheaper equipment from a local Fitness Depot and then also ordered some stuff from Rogue. I've found that I like the Rogue stuff a lot better and I'm willing to pay more for it. Up in...

Re: Shock absorbing mats

I live in a single family home. I was shocked. I was down there with a buddy and we were both dropping the bar but not from overhead or anything.

Re: Shock absorbing mats

Today I had a knock on my door mid workout. My neighbour said that me dropping the weights in my basement was shaking his living room and that I have cracked his basement floor. Lol.

Crossfitters in Barrie, Ontario

I am a Level 1 Crossfit trainer who would be more than happy to work with some people in the Barrie area who want to try but hesitant to spend a lot of money up front.

Re: Humble Beginnings Of My Garage Gym

I'm not sure how often the airdyne or rower show up in The Outlaw Way workouts but I can tell you that in the OPT programming one of them is in the almost every other day I would say. I have a spin...

Re: Does long distance running reduce muscle mass?

I certainly don't think that running 3 miles a few times a week will hurt anyone and limit any gains in muscle or strength. The distances jump from 3 miles (which certainly isn't long distance) to...

Re: Humble Beginnings Of My Garage Gym

Looks great! I added a 10 year old airdyne I found online for $175 to my basement gym and I love it. I already had a Concept 2. I have a GHD but I don't really use it too much to be honest. I...

Re: HSPU and muscle up question

I've also seen one on Youtube of a Crossfit gym that progressed to using ab mats stacked up to limit the range of motion (and make it easier). Laurie Galassi does a good job of teaching it I think. ...

Re: 4 months in and need feedback....

I think it has to do with just general overall fitness. I have been crossfitting for around 10 months now. However, before I started I was already in good physical shape. I was running 4-5 times a...

Re: Deadlift Form Question

I'd recommend not doing mix grip unless you are going for your max. That wouldn't affect your problem but thought I'd mention it.

Pay attention to where the bar is before you start to lift. ...

Re: Shock absorbing mats

I'm curious to hear what other affiliates do. It seems a lot of boxes are in an industrial space that has neighbours on both sides. I think maybe that concrete block walls are common. With this...

Re: Easy way to protect knurling from Rogue Gun Rack

Why wouldn't Rogue put some sort of protection on the rack to protect the bars? Doesn't really make sense. I just ordered them and I was hoping/assuming it wouldn't be metal rack against my nice...
