Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
No worries, William, I can see where you'd read it the way you did. :-)
Everybody, thanks for your input! I never quite got what I was looking for from a handicapping perspective, which probably...

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
Aushion, we really like the workout template of doing 300m inside of X time, resting for 1:00, and stringing as many in a row as you can before failing to make X. If you can do 7 in a row and I can...

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
It occurs to me now that handicapping isn't really in the Crossfit spirit, so I might be barking up the wrong tree, but I know there are rowing experts here, and I also think the workout itself is a...

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
Thanks for the replies, gang! I'm probably being dense, but I still don't think that calculator is quite what I'm after. I'm more looking for a strength handicap rather than a weight (water...

Re: Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
Thanks Andy, I found that calculator, and it helps, but I still don't think it's quite what we're looking for, although I could be wrong. We want to know what makes our erg-to-erg contest fair, not...

Fair Handicapping of a Rowing Contest?
Hi folks,

Good Rowing Working, C2 Pace Boat Question
Hi folks,
I recently revisited a C2 workout that I really like: 300m sprint, 1:00 rest, repeat as many times as you can until you can't do the 300m in under 1:00 (scale as needed). I can set this...
