And I love being a big strong boy most of all the fitness aspects anyway so I'm biased.

Yeah, I agree. Some rubbish, but alot of good stuff on strength development. Although using gymnastics to get big biceps does sound pretty naff.

Alright, I looked for this empirical proof and couldn't find it. I didn't think I would, because as far as I know Crossfit has never had any formal studies conducted on it and has never proved itself...
