Re: Selling my CrossFit gym.
The value of your gym would start with the equipment and what it is worth (minus depreciation). Do you have contracts for your members? If you have 102 members that are under contract for the next...

Re: What are you going to work on for 2016
My main fitness goal for 2016 is to qualify for the American Open (olympic lifting). I've hit the numbers I need in practice, but I need to hit them at a meet (and also make weight). I'm in the 105kg...

Re: Recommened Calorie Intake
Zone applies the same value of proteins and fats to 5oz of chicken breast as it does to 5oz of ribeye steak, even though the steak is 17f and 18p, while the chicken is 2f and 37p. Doesn't make sense,...

Re: Recommened Calorie Intake
Isn't measuring blocks and counting calories the same thing? You're taking a numerical value of the food you're eating. It's just that zone is less accurate.

Re: Where to buy CrossFit stash in NYC?
You'll only find reebok there. The only option is to order online and have it shipped to your hotel or wherever you will be staying. You won't find a rogue store or anyone selling it, other than...

Re: Where to buy CrossFit stash in NYC?
I would say buy it online, but it seems like you are coming from overseas, so I am guessing that is not an option. Your best bet is to contact crossfit boxes in NYC and see if any of them carry Rogue...

Re: Recommened Calorie Intake
1. Your calculations are off, Kilograms to pounds is kg x 2.2 (not 2...at 60kg that is a difference of 12 lbs). Using a calorie calculator that comes out to 132 g of protein, 60 g of fat, and 180 g...

Re: Macro's
It seems like you have lost quite a lot of weight already, so it's probably not best to change your diet too much. For me personally, I would take off about 50 or so grams off carbs and add it to fat...

Re: Bread question.
Oh jeez. Wraps and sandwiches are the same thing, get over yourself. I also never said I like lettuce wraps, just a suggestion to the OP who asked for paleo options.

Re: Bread question.
Since nobody actually answered your question, I would say go with a lettuce wrap. There are gluten free breads (close as you can get to paleo), but to me they taste like cardboard.

Re: Aerodyne and WODs
You can definitely do them both on the same day. I usually use mine in the morning either like 30 sec easy 30 sec hard for 15-25 min, or just go at a medium effort for 30 min. Sometimes I'll use it...

Re: headphones for working out
I have a pair of beats but I would not wear them for working out. They are too bulky. I sometimes use Jay bird Bluetooth headphones. I wouldn't recommend wearing headphones for oly lifting though....

Re: Paleo Diet and "skinny fat"
Your macros seem way too low. I am about 250 trying to drop to 230, and my macros are:
287 carbs, 276 pro, 115 fat. And that is for trying to lose weight. You probably need to add at least 50 pro,...

Re: CrossFit Games Amateur division
I really don't see the point in an amateur division at the Games. The whole reason for the Games is to find the fittest individual (among peers) or team. How does an amateur division accomplish this?...

I would say maybe cut her a little slack only if you think she can hurt your gym's reputation and turn off new members. Such as giving unfavorable reviews on social media. Otherwise I would charge...

Re: How far do you drive to the box?
When I lived in Chicago my gym was exactly 1 mile away. I ran (usually walked back) half the time and drove the other. Now that I live in Winston-Salem, my gym is about 28 minutes away. There is a...

Re: Clydesdale United
I surprised myself and got a full round 157 reps. My goal was one round, but I was worried I'd get stuck at like 4 MUs. I had about 3 minutes to get a MU in the 2nd round but it wasn't happening.

Re: Clydesdale United
78 reps on my 2nd attempt. Same story.
15.3 looks horrible. I think the most MUs I've done in one session was 8-10 but that was probably over half an hour. My goal is to get one round.
