Re: Early morning workouts..

Bulletproof coffee indeed. It's a phenomenal cup of coffee. I have one before the gym and another after the gym on my way to work and really does the trick.

The BPE, at the very least, is an...

Re: Fish Oil Quality v. Price

I have a hard time comparing fish oils though. My suggestion has 782mg EPA and 524 DHA per teaspoon. I was under the impression that that would be considered a lot. Help me out here.

Are you saying...

Re: Fish Oil Quality v. Price

I've been using the Vitacost brand for a while now and I'm quite happy with it. Taste good enough and the label says its packed full of the goods....

Re: Paleo Diet Does and Don'ts

I'll second the Whole30 being an excellent place to start. It's very cut and dry. Get your big boy pants on and give it an honest no cheating 30 days and you'll be good to go.

After the initial 30...

Re: Eat real food without going broke or being chained to the stove: a case study

A 40 clove chicken is a pretty righteous way to use a slow cooker. This is a pretty common recipe and can be easily "googled". Dont forget to blender up all the garlic and the "leavins" for a wicked...

Re: I just called 5 affiliates - guess how many answered the phone the correctly...

I didnt join a regular gym as none of them would give me a price over the phone. If you can't give me a solid figure, then I'm just going to assume you're trying to scam me.

I got the price for the...

Re: Avocado uses

Besides cutting it up and putting it on everything, it can take the place of mayo in a lot of different kinds of creamy'ish dipping sauces. Avocado and olive oil is your base, add flavors (mustards,...

Re: Design your own crossfit glove

I wear gloves. I've been using Mizuno batting gloves since watching the '11 games and they are the best skin protector I've used so far. They allow me to continue getting stronger in grip but my skin...

Re: Routine that involves no arms?

One arm barbell power cleans. Takes a bit to get the balance down, but they are fun and you can still "go heavy" if that's part of your program.

Re: costco meat

None of it is even remotely close to grass fed or "organic" unfortunately. If it was it would be plastered all over the package and the price would double.

i.e. the ground beef you're referencing....

Re: Great article about crossfit shoes

I've recently decided on the NB Minimus MX20 and they were easily the most comfortable shoe for me personally.

note: Try them on locally first. They fit different than any other shoe I've worn.

Re: Skipping Ropes

A solid jumping off point is if you stand in the middle of the rope, with one foot, the bottom of the handles should come up to your nipples. Not very scientific, but its a good place to start that...

Re: Must I be bothered about my diet?

As long as you're eating enough of whatever it is that you want to eat, then it wont be a problem. If it does come up though, I would forgo the diatribe and just stick with, "I'm a vegetarian. I love...

Re: Knowshon Moreno Training at CF Verve w/ Video

So the cameras showed up for one day and caught him doing several different things, and people are assuming that's all he did for 7 weeks? It looked like all that was just 1 day.

1 day. vs. 7...
