Unhappy Re: CrossFit and/vs Yoga

Old as this thread is, I'd like to commend Justin on his apology. Bravo, sir. Spoken like a gentleman. If only more people were capable of this.

Re: Ergonomic sitting

Thanks, Darryl. I think I'll be buying that book soon. Over the years we've already spent a lot on furniture. But I will consider sitting on a stool or Swiss ball. I already sleep on a very thin,...

Hi all,

After reading a very interesting post (http://www.marksdailyapple.com/sitting-unhealthy/) on Mark's Daily Apple (WF friendly) about how bad chairs are for us, I thought back to my karate...

Re: Crunchy Joints

Afraid I can't say why that happens. But I can tell you it's always happened to me, especially with my feet, especially when I've walked a lot that day or simply stood around too much. I then lie on...

Re: Healthy way to tan naturally?

That's a very Canadian joke about Torontonians. I thought you lived in CA...

I'm originally from Cuba, so for me Toronto is cold. But I'm guessing even someone from Edmonton wouldn't work out...

Re: The Art of Manliness

Agreed. That's why I use the Merkur safety razor as opposed to a straight razor. It's quicker and a lot safer, while still providing a far better shave than the latest 18-blade Gillette Super Anti...

Re: The Art of Manliness

Trust Crossfit to allow me to encounter fellow old fashioned shavers... I don't use a blade --yet-- but a merkur I bought on eBay, a badger hair brush, and a hot towel to obtain the best shave of my...

Re: Healthy way to tan naturally?

This thread may be dead now, but I thought it'd be interesting to see what you guys do ilfor tanning and vitamin D in the winter. It's too cold outside! Any thoughts on tanning salons ?

Re: The Art of Manliness

I really love the cookbook. It's full of guy's recipes. Not all are CF friendly, but a lot are. If a anyone wants it without subscribing to the site's RSS, shoot me a PM.

The Art of Manliness

I found this blog yesterday and think it's amazing ---safety razor shaving, spit'n shine shoe cleaning, old fashioned recipes-- it's got it all. And if you subscribe via RSS you get to download a...

Re: To all solo, apartment, and budget-minded aspiring crossfitters!

Amazing and inspirational. Me and my wife are paying $60 each for a crappy gym with nice showerheads and lots of mirrors and pink dumbbells but only one squat rack and barely any space to use the...

Re: Any iPhone users out there?

I got the 8 gig and love it.

I am concerned, though, about battery life. I understand switching to EDGE is a good power saver, but then I have to switch back to 3G before going online. Does anyone...
