Re: Why has this message board gone so quiet?
Yeah, I checked out the CF sub on Reddit. It's alright, though the reddit format means it will never be as organized like this or any forums with subforums.
It's not as fast or as strong as the...

Re: Pre-workout
Cardio, yo. Otherwise, no cardio would probably ever get done.
No hands allows me to sit upright which means no lower back stress. Also, fairly casual while I sip on my...

Re: Pre-workout
Carbonation doesn't bother me but it helps that I only do WL. I'm not a big fan of preworkouts and CF. Tends to lead to pukey or dry heaves outside.
A lot of the time I sip the rockstar on the...

Brendan-
If you're a gymnast, every day! Hahah.
Depending on where you are is how I would vary it. And how much time you have.
That being said, I'd probably start every other day so...

Re: Pre-workout
On my last WL max out that I peaked for (I was going to go to a meet but opted not to because of $$$), I had imbibed around 745mg. No, I didn't have any problems crashing out nor did I feel like my...

Re: What are you going to work on for 2016
Cutting weight. This should make all BW stuff MUCH easier, hahah. Even if I don't go back to my peak gymnastics weight (67-68kg/under #150). I'm focusing on getting back to 73kg/#160ish. I hit 77...

Re: post-workout
Well 1L of milk is pretty close to a quart and that's 32g of protein. So 250=8g, 100, that's like 3.
100ml of egg white is over 3 ounces so it's around 10g of protein. I looked up some conversion...

Re: Your kids don't care how much you squat
I intend for my kids to give me looks of shame and mean words if they know I'm not hitting the lifts I should or increasing them. One day, of course.
Da hell, dad. Get yo stuff together. You...

FringeSport - Black Friday sale
So just came across this. I know some people are starting to prepare for their Black Friday sales as I just laugh at my bank account given a trip for a wedding and the AO coming up (not including...

Re: what is your deadlift and power clean?
Came across this the other day on FB WLFriends. The article should be somewhere there.
No idea what my DL is right now. I did some DL in April with 150kg for a triple after a long trip on the...

No lie, so many missed gainz. I lifted in college but I coulda done so much more volume as well (be it living at home or roommates). I thought I lifted enough in college but I could have done so much...

Re: Additional (heavy) lifts rep scheme
I meant to infer lifting HEAVY. I don't really give a damn about lifting metcon or assistance work weights.
By "Heavy" I'd say 70%+ for volume or 85-90%+ for intensity (low reps).
Chris is on...

^^ This.
More important stuff, less silly tomfoolery.
I do understand that some people find working out in a group to be better for motivation and fun.
Working up to a Heavy Single, or...

Re: Additional (heavy) lifts rep scheme
With something like an ascending 3 or 5rm, you actually accumulate nearly the same amount of volume at possibly a higher intensity than 3's or 5's across with a working weight. However, this...

The best angle tends to from diagonal in the front.
