Re: Gym bags...
I have the Gear Bag Core. By far it is the best bag I've ever owned...and I've owned quite a few. Best part is my gear does not get stinky if I accidentally leave it in there damp. This is what I...

Re: Pendlay HD bushing bar review!
I love my Pendlay bushing bar. I've been using it for about 6 months. Pendlay suggests WD40 and a plastic bristled brush to maintain the bar. I cleaned it last week for the first time, chalk came...

Re: how much is too much?
60% is LOW. I follow Catalyst Athletics and most reps of ANYTHING starts at 70% unless you are doing something unusual or a brand new lifter. Low rep/moderate to heavy weight squats is how you...

Re: Will it ever get better?
I used to be horrible in my front rack, tight shoulders. I started stretching like the video showed and after a while, the front rack became natural.

Re: Best Gloves...
I use them for rope climbs and high rep pull-ups only. We have white nylon climbing ropes and the gloves stick to them like glue. Bar work doesn't tear up my hands much, even deadlifts. I did try...

Re: My back squat has been stuck for 1 year
I had this exact issue about a 1.5 years ago. I was 6'2" 235lbs and my BS was stalled at 360lbs. From about 2010-2012 I just could not break it. CrossFit alone was not enough to break through. I...

Re: Clean technique
I found that doing cleans from blocks (the bar is mid-thigh) helped me get comfortable getting under the bar.

Re: Olympic lifts and bench press?
Doing SOME bench will not likely affect anything negatively but not likely do much positive either. I will tell you that doing lots of heavy bench WILL 100% negatively affect your shoulder mobility....

Re: Front Squat
Your stance is too wide. The outside of your foot and heel are coming off the ground when coming up from the bottom. Feet should be hip-ish width, same position as the clean/snatch receiving...

Re: Collarbone Bruise: Padded Shirt
Your elbows are not going high enough at the finish. I used to have that problem until I forced my elbows up in the font rack position. Doing that lets the bar rest on my deltoids and off the...

Re: CrossFit Weightlifting Course VS USAW
I've been to the CF cert but a friend of mine has been to both. The best part of the CF cert is that YOU teach each other. I mean of course there are the lead instructors that teach you the lifts. ...

You were getting extension for the most part. Maybe just a hint more but overall a good pull.

Re: Finally! The Adipower in New Colors
Its a very minor difference compared to my Adipowers but makes it look so much different. Its likely that there is no change on the shoes that get delivered.

Re: To belt up or not?
I throw on my belt when my lifts hit 75-80% 1RM and above. It's not a magical injury prevention device. What it does do is allow your ab muscles something to push against so when you perform you...

Re: Zercher Squats
I've done these before and I was not impressed. I maxed out well under my front squat max. It was HELL on my arm creases and the depth was much more shallow since my elbows hit my knees above...
