Re: Open Competition

Whoa, that is a long way to commute! Either way, if anyone is around Menifee, CA during the open weeks, call me or email and I'd be glad to host and verify scores. For free.

Re: Open Competition

I have no idea where Novato is, but CrossFit 951 is not charging anyone to come do the open workouts. We are open all week, and will have trainers available to judge you. Just call or email ahead...

Re: Review of Get Rx'd Equipment

Here's a question for us in California: Are you guys going to be coming to the Games? If so, are you going to bring a big *** truck full of stuff we can buy? I'd love to do that, and have some...

Re: Review of Get Rx'd Equipment

Received my bars yesterday. I cleaned a few times with them, nothing heavy. I can say that they are sweet. The spin on the bars is fantastic. I can't believe the price for the quality, I will...

Re: Review of Get Rx'd Equipment

I just ordered a couple of new bars for our gym. Awesome price! Can't wait to have them shipped. Even with shipping, they will be cheaper than anything else I've seen for the quality.

Re: Hijack thread

I heard the University of Nebraska's football facility is better than most NFL facilities. Is that true?

Re: timer review help

We have the Title Timer. Does a great job. It has 5 different settings, and takes a little time to learn, but it is a great investment. We have a regular timer, 20 minute timer, fight gone bad...

Re: Next evolution for CrossFit

I seriously doubt that anyone over 250lbs would ever win the games, or even place in the top 10. I'm not talking about smaller weight classes, just something like an over 250 category for the heavy...

Re: Next evolution for CrossFit

I just think that it would be interesting to watch the big guys do things they normally shouldn't be able to do. Speal throwing big weight around is impressive. A big guy like Welbourn doing muscle...

Re: Next evolution for CrossFit

Just for arguments sake, why the masters categories then? Did you disagree with that? It was on a smaller scale, which the heavier classes could be too.

Next evolution for CrossFit

Weight categories...Discuss.

At least a Clydesdale division like in Triathlons and runs, for us bigger guys. Of course that will never stop me from trying to qualify for the actual CrossFit Games,...

Re: Wrist wraps/Rogue wrist wraps?

Re: Straps for attaching rings to high beam

You can just throw the webbing over the beam, and tie a water knot in it. Loop the straps of the rings through the webbing after that. We did that in the gym I'm at now.

Re: 2" manila rope

I ordered from them. Great service and price. They have an option to make a loop at one end as well using a splice, it was like $7.00 per rope.

Re: Straps for attaching rings to high beam

I'll answer because you have a PHENOMENAL last name. Plus, we have high beams as well, and used this stuff (WFS) http://www.rei.com/product/737298 I just tied a water knot on each one, and threw...

I'm 6'5'', and 280lbs. I prefer the wood rings, even though I don't have them. I have some metal ones that I ordered before the wood ones came out, and when I went to CrossFit by Overload, they had...
