Re: Help getting started

I agree with Jeremiah regarding the Paleo recommendation. Read the Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf and log your food into http://www.fitday.com (WFS). I'm not the biggest fan of FitDay but it gets the...

Re: Paleo Challenge v3.0 w/ Before and After Pics

Good stuff! We're on the 2nd challenge of the year at the box I go to and it seriously helped me to gain focus and finally get consistent. It works well for those who really need to lose some weight...

Re: Creatine Aggression

Wasn't really frustrated with the bloating until yesterday, because it wasn't a major issue. Ethyl Ester is not supposed to cause bloating. As a matter of fact I think the bloating may have been from...

Creatine Aggression

While the response on most bodybuilding forums seems to laugh at the notion, I decided to stop taking creatine yesterday after getting excessively aggressive over my 13 day stint taking the stuff. I...

Re: I know it's not supposed to be about the scale...

Dave,

I'm actually very familiar with the Zone. My original CrossFit trainer started me on that. I stuck with it on and off for about 1.5 years. Overall I think it was good, but I think it's too...

Re: Newbie

Hey Wilfredo,

After a few months of CrossFit you will kill the 5k. Will seem like a walk in the park compared to what you will do on a daily basis. CrossFit never gets easier, you just get...

Re: I know it's not supposed to be about the scale...

One thing that will help you is keeping track of your food intake. You can go over to fitday.com (WFS) and get a free account. If you are not tracking you'd be surprised that you are overeating or...

Hey Man,

Great job. I started CrossFit weighing 302 and I'm down to around 258 right now. The beginning was really hard, and it never does get easy (because if it does, your not pushing hard...
