I deadlift in the squat rack all the time. That is where the bar is, unless I want to steal one from the bench.
Pretty much every bar is at a station at my gym. Not a lot of free ones available.

Couch to 5k is a pretty good basic running plan.
To follow it will cut into your other training though.

Also remember that just because you have a pantry full of spice does not mean you have to use all of them every time.
Buy good food, cook it simply and it will be better than over complicated food...

Most fast food / cookie places and coffee places post the calorie content of their drinks and cookies,
The treadmill counts your calories burned on the display...
So all you have to do is burn 1...

I know the feeling. I used to squat a few times a week. then when I hit 37 it took 2 days for my legs to stop being sore after 5X5 or 3x3 squats.
