Move those beach burpees into the surf for a whole new dimension. I got a lot of funny looks last summer for doing 100 surf burpees for time.

Old combine tire, 23.1-30. Weighs ~325#. Loader tires are much heavier because of the application.

Picked mine up on Craigs List; as mentioned earlier, the big shops will give these away.

From Muir to Summit and back out is a long day. Throw a few 12 hour climbs into your Crossfit protocol to build confidence and familiarity with what you'll feel on Rainier....

I'm ~240# and like Andy have a PR in the 20's.

Somebody (Coach ?) wrote once that weighing 200+ doesn't exempt you from 20+ pullups. I think Crossfit is equally rewarding...

CFT divided by body weight seems like a good place to start. A 5x bodyweight CFT would be a great benchmark.
