Re: Trouble ordering KB's from Fitzz.com

Have you talked to them yet about refunding your money? If you have and they still haven't given you a refund, you'll have to call your credit card company. In most cases they'll be able to get your...

Re: Buying a kettlebell

So I got my 1 pood today. Poundage wise it feels a little too light. However, my forearms are taking a beating so it's probably still a good idea that i went with a lighter bell.

Re: What's the Difference?

Yeah I know it's American and Russian. I had no idea there was any sort of "rivalry" or war between the two. I thought they were just differing training modalities and rules and was interested in...

What's the Difference?

Between AKC and RKC?

I was reading a thread on Steve Cotter's forum and they were talking about AKC vs. RKC but I couldn't really gather what the differences were.

Re: Buying a kettlebell

For the Canadians here who've bought from Agatsu. How long did it take for you to receive your bell(s)?

Like I said, mine was shipped on the 15th and I received my tracking number but the status...

Re: Buying a kettlebell

Ordered a 1 pood from Agatsu on Monday and they shipped it the same day. Awesome service. My 1st KB so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'll post some feedback when it arrives.

Re: Motivation and organization - How to be consistent?

I'm a visual person. Every workout I complete, I mark the day on the calendar with an 'X.'

For some reason, seeing a month full of X's really keeps me motivated.

Re: What do you do when you are tired?

I usually make a deal with myself to at least break a sweat for five minutes. If I'm lifting that day, I'll tell myself to do a couple of sets and if I'm still tired I can call it a day, same thing...

Re: Overtraining?

I think I read on T-nation as well that a higher than normal RHR is a sign of being in an overtrained state. And a decrease in grip strength is another sign.

I usually test my RHR every morning when...

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

I love riding my bike, but I work a desk job so something that works the entire body appeals to me.

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

It's weird, the Airdyne looks flimsy to me, but I've never heard anyone say anything about how they aren't built to last.

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

What kind of resistance do they use? Belts? Magnets?

I'll probably go try a few of them out this weekend, my grandfather wants my old upright bike so I won't have a problem getting rid of that.

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

Oh yeah, we had those at my college gym, they were ancient but really simple and durable. A local place carries those new.

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

I like that the airdyne allows use of the arms, I'd use it mostly for intervals with the odd LSD workout here and there. I don't currently own a road bike. What's a "spin bike?"

Re: Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

That's kind of what "sold" me on them. I know a lot of collegiate wrestlers use them, if it's good enough for those guys, it's good enough for me.

Schwinn Evolution vs. Airdyne

Looks like the Evolution is a new and 'improved' version of the airdyne. The airdyne seems to get better feedback compared to the evolution.

I'd like to purchase one of these but could use some...
