I have a background in I.T. and MBO is a...

Re: snatch problems

Kirez,

Lay back at the top of the second pull - Like Peter said at the top of your second pull think about shrugging the shoulders up and back. If you do that slowly to practice you will see that it...

MARPAT straps are the same straps except they are the MARine PATtern camouflage.

Bill's getting fired up over here. He's even processing the items himself.

Re: Clean and Jerk, snatch thoughts...Glenn? :D

Thanks Glenn. Most of the time when I lift I don't have a set of eyes to watch me. So I video quite a bit so I can "coach" myself. However when I do get a good set of eyes, like Kevin Mueller, I find...

Clean and Jerk, snatch thoughts...Glenn? :D

The following videos were taken during the same workout session. I did 20 snatches on the minute for 20 minutes. Then I rested 10 minutes and did 20 clean and jerks on the minute for 20 minutes....

Re: Crossfit Total Competition: Where can I sign up?

Re: Crossfit Total Competition: Where can I sign up?

Tim,
Our "PR Day" was a hit. Yes it included the Rogue Total which consists of Front Squat, Press, and Dead Lift which is still a great test of strength. We also had athletes attempt PRs in the...

Re: Josh Everett's "KING KONG"

Anthony,
You won't do it! (nothing like a little sophomoric ego check to get the ball rolling);)

Re: Josh Everett's "KING KONG"

Leonid,
That is how I feel too. It seems that many of the WODs are going the direction of "feats" of strength and conditioning. Of course that is what C-fit is about isn't? Move more weight...

Re: MindBodyOnline, AMEX Plum Card & CC Processing for Affiliates

Thanks Lance.

With all the love MBO gets from the CrossFit folks I was really feeling like a goof ball for not being able to get cozy with it. I am glad other folks kind of feel the same way I do.

Re: MindBodyOnline, AMEX Plum Card & CC Processing for Affiliates

- Its expensive

- Their merchant partner (the folks that process...
