Re: I'm a believer. (Zone/Paleo)

Same effect on me. I don't stop until I physically cannot fit anything else into my stomach. Then I feel AWFUL for days. This retrospect always gives me extra incentive to stay on track.

Re: Not eating birthday cake rude?

Although 95% of people have no idea...

Re: Poorman's Rings

I've hung my homemade rings on a power rack. No one has given me any trouble about it. It works fine for ring dips, but I wish I could hang them higher when doing MU's. It still works though.

Re: OK, I'll say it....I like BEER!

I was just in Belgium for 4 days. I drank a lot of beer. Dark, heavy, strong beer. It was delicious. My favorite was a dark beer by Grimsdale.

I ate lots of chocolate too.

Re: McDonald's

You're right. He doesn't necessarily follow the "Super Size Me" approach. His diet is similar to the zone. Mostly, he watches his calorie intake. He divides 2000 calories among McDonalds food...

Re: McDonald's

I'm not justifying eating McDonalds, but, I just was an interesting, comedy-documentary called "Fat Head" by David Naughton. It is a response to the infamous movie "Super Size Me."

In "Fat Head,"...

Re: donating blood: how long until back to normal?

Not what you're looking for, but, I asked a nurse what the consequences would be if I went out drinking after donating blood. She said 1=3. You could be a pretty cheap date.
