Re: Density Training for Fat loss

Re: If you really want a six-pack...

Of course we can always find beach muscle warriors (ala almost every teenage boy) but I thought we were taking it from the perspective of the type of people that are on this forum.

So let's say...

Re: Is it possible to learn martial arts at home?

Ben, is there a reason why you don't want to attend a school? There's typically a large variety of martial arts schools in most cities. Figure out what you want to get out of studying martial arts...

Re: If you really want a six-pack...

I like this. If an awesome magical fairy came down and said, "hey, I can give you a six-pack right now." I'm not sure how many of us would say "Ohhh nope. No thanks."

Granted very few on this...

Re: To those who do Strength + Metcon several times a week...

I try to get in some strength work to start. Then hit some hypertrophy work. And then hit a metcon of sorts. I haven't found my strength or my conditioning affected.

Here are a couple of examples...

208 to start. 165 to end. I was 176 the day before pics and before I clipped my water and food intake 18 hours before. When I got up that morning I was 165.

Good luck on that. I think of the 6 YMCAs I've visted here in Oklahoma, only 1 had a squat rack, nevermind anything else that would be productive to running Olympic lifting.

Re: Where to start with metal?

If I was going to use Metallica in the training playlist, it'd have to be something from Master of Puppets. There's also some really cool stuff off their And Justic for All album.
