Re: Cutting weight

Here is what I'd change based on your circumstances. You should be able to get within a few pounds (2-3) with just sodium manipulation etc. Drink a couple liters of water before 2PM on the day of...

Re: Cutting weight

I train a professional boxer (www.alfonsolopez3.com WFS) who used the above protocol to drop weight for a recent fight. I did this cut with him and personally lost 20 pounds in a couple of weeks. ...

Re: Boxers and "Road Work"

Alfonso ran a 10K at around a 6:30/mile pace this year. That's probably a PR for him. While he did leave "most" of the field, he still came in behind some runners who were 60+ years old, and a 16...

Re: Running a 5K

You don't need to carb load for a 5K unless you are eating very low carb already. You'll want to go in a little hungry and eat up afterwards.

Also, warm up more than you think you need to,...

Re: Best Knockout of all time?

My current favorite is Sergio Martinez 2nd round KO of Paul Williams last night on HBO.

For the record, I also think that Hagler Hearns should have been in the top ten.
