I agree with Clint's answer on the general purpose - long metcon, no special training purpose, but seems to attack your whole body by the time you're through all 10 exercises.

K2E's and burpees kill...

I think 41 minutes is a good time for the fitness level you describe. Stay with it, you will see your time improve as you go along. Kelly is a tough workout, few can do it in less than 25 minutes.

James, I'll agree strongly with the suggestions to rest on rest days. Consider it.

I would also suggest adding burpees to your daily warmup, to the tune of 3 sets of 15 - it's a full body...

burpees encompass just about everything in the CFWU other than PU, imo

I think a better sub is SDHP a 16 kg KB with the ratio you mentioned.

The 45# bar is too much, especially for 1000m or more. In my opinion.

Turkish Getups - question re rep-counting

Is the getup one rep? Or does a getdown also need to be completed for it to be counted as a full rep for WOD purposes?
