Re: JumpNRope R1 vs R1.X vs R2

Nice post, thanks. I guess I'm trying to decide between R2 and R1.x, since I do some work outside. Any insights on R1.X?

JumpNRope R1 vs R1.X vs R2

Anyone have experience with all three of these ropes? I'm ready to ditch my licorice rope, with which I can get up to 70 DU's unbroken, but some cable ropes seem to have no feel.

Re: Vitamix blender... worth the $$?

My parents have a Vitamix. I have a Blendtec. Having tried both, I prefer the Blendtec. It's more affordable, and you don't have a lousy plunger like the Vitamix. Buy it at Costco and you can get...

Re: Developing a new crossfit shoe for a major manufacturer, need your opinions!

Tried it on, but that's it. The thing I like about the Bare Access is that it's closer to the crosstrainers I used to wear, as opposed to just a running shoe.

Good tip on the Lock Laces.

Re: Developing a new crossfit shoe for a major manufacturer, need your opinions!

A cross between the Merrell Bare Access and Trail Glove but more durable.

Zero drop.
Light padding (like Bare Access)
Full Vibram sole (Bare Access 2)
Protective toe area (Trail Glove)
Rope...

Re: less expensive zero drop shoes?

Merrell Bare Access. I think they're fantastic, although the Bare Access 2 might be even better. I just haven't tried it on. They're on sale at 6pm -...

Schisler???

Anyone ever heard of Schisler equipment? I've got a line on an Oly bar, but wanted to know if it was decent before I pull the trigger.

Rope recommendations for pulling a sled?

What length and diameter rope would you recommend for doing hand-over-hand pulls with a weighted sled? What material?

Re: Avocado uses

Mix it into a smoothie. You can't taste it, but it gives it a smooth consistency.

Chavocado pudding. 1 avocado, 1/4 cup cocoa, a banana (optional), 1/4 cup coconut milk, 1 t vanilla, and...

Hampton Kettlebells?

Anyone ever used a Hampton Kettlebell? I do know they come in 10 pound increments, instead of kg (e.g. 50# instead of 1.5 pood = 53#). If you've used one, how does it compare to RKC or Christian's...

Re: What are NEW C2 model Ds selling for?

That's a 400% markup over what I paid :smiley_ev http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=68154 WFS

Seriously, I think a used D would get $500-$600.

Re: National Peanut Board's new campaign

Kirkland Organic from Costco gives it a pretty good run, plus no added sugar, and no partially hydrogenated oils.

False. Check your facts before making assertions. http://www.chipotle.com/en-US/menu/ingredients/ingredients.aspx (WFS) Poke around the rest of the site while you're there.

Of course. When you get the whole chicken, the ingredients will printed on the packaging label. You have to ask if you get individual pieces.

And if we want to get picky, the chicken probably...

Re: Going from vibrams to running shoes, help?

Saucony Kilkenny XC2 or XC3. They're a cross-country runner that are very lightweight. You can also fold them in half.
