What I wouldn't give...

Remember when the moderator forum messages were posted on another site, showing how the moderators discussed certain members and actions in secrecy? Man, what I wouldn't give to see that forum in...

"Yesterday I was minding my own business logging my workout when a dude walked up and asked...

Re: Diet Advice on Yahoo...no wonder Americans are so FAT!

Rob,

You beat me to the punch. I had just logged on here to post that very article.

And to think, I've been doing it all wrong! My improved body composition and general sense of well-being since...

Re: how about this diet plan??

Re: Any Highland Games/Strongman Athletes?

I competed one year in the Highland Games on a whim with two buddies. The initial reason was because one of the guys wanted to do the caber toss, but when he called to see if he could sign up for...

Re: Painstorm - December '09

So it's real easy to criticize someone and not offer a solution, which I did in the previous post. Sorry about that.

So the solution: why not just have the score be total reps/cals (ie, not divide...

Re: Painstorm - December '09

The scoring doesn't make any sense.

Why divide total reps/cals by total muscle-ups? Is the goal a high score or a low score? If you want a low score, you slack off reps/cals and/or do a lot of...

Re: Freezer full of grass-fed meats

I'd say about 25% more per month than the grocery store. It's actually probably more than that, because I tended to get relatively expensive cuts from the grocery store: chicken breasts, steaks,...

Re: Freezer full of grass-fed meats

I was hoping to get some input from you, I've tried some of your other recipes (chicken quarters with Frank's in the crockpot, et al). I've been on a bit of a greens kick lately, so it sounds like...

Re: Zone & Calories

Leigh,

There are a few things that make 14 blocks more than 973 Kcal:

1 - Your calculations are a little off. A block of carbs is 9 grams, so you're getting 14x9=126 grams of carbs, which is 504...

Re: Navy OCS

I went through Navy OCS in 2002. The best advice is to keep up with the mainpage WOD, but include some extra running 3-4 times a week. It doesn't matter if you are going subs, CEC, pilot, or SEALS,...
