Re: My PSMF Log

Just got the PSMF book myself a couple days ago. Interesting read and it is similar in fuction to the Velocity diet, the form however, is considerably different; liquid protein versus solid protein...

Re: blargh

 'Caught diabetes' - Heh. And I was right there with you in the weird coma. Only after I was human+1 because of all the sugar. I swear at one point, if I turned my head to the left really...

Re: blargh

After making insane gains/losses, I too have been having an off week. A down week to say the least physically and mentally. My diet has been less than stellar and it is just further reinforcement to...

Re: Lost it this week... zone schmone....

Tell no one - I tasted the rainbow (couple mini-bags. 'Fun' size right). My stomach, nearly in real time, let my brain know that move was fairly stupid, hoped my mouth enjoyed the sugary ride and...

Re: The difference between primal and paleo

What most people describe on these boards is closer to primal than it is to paleo.

Re: no milk?

Re: stress reliever...?

I wish I had a good answer for you - I too have been seeking the same knowledge.

I am afraid that it is like all other things that have to do with humans; it will be individual and specific to...

Re: What is your secret?

For me, the simplest way I've found to deal with just about everything is to remind myself that 'It is just another day.' And I treat it as such as far as exercising and eating are concerned. If I...

Re: Kryptonite

I've not been back to San Diego since 1998 and I still think of Adalbertos from time to time. I truly do miss that entire area for many reasons; that one little taco shop is one of the biggies. Brown...

Re: Kryptonite

I am with you on Coke. After two months of nearly no refined sugar, I had a glass of Coke with dinner, thinking a smallish glass would be okay. I nearly hallucinated from the rush and I was certainly...

Re: Kryptonite

I am personally glad that I am away from San Diego now (but not really) because of all the ~tos taco shops that made eating healthy severely not fun for me (especially Adalbertos; burritos that...

Re: Carb Fest 08

Shane I was right there with you in the coma - didn't even set any records in plowing carbs either. I had some birthday cake (granted it was closer to a slab than a slice) and I could feel the...

Re: Triathlon Sprint Prep?

If possible, run on the wet stuff - the dry stuff can chew you up pretty fast.

Re: diet while on deployment

After my first deployment, finding a market was almost always my first goal in port. The need for 'supplemental food' depending on what command I was with - my first ship, I swear the MS's all had...

Re: veggies

+1

Soup and stew is a great and easy way to cheat more veggies into your (my) diet. That and anything I can scramble with eggs; pretty much any veggie works in a scramble.

Re: Anabolic Diet - My Progress

Ryan, what information are you using to guide yourself with the Anabolic Diet? I ask this because the original 'Anabolic Diet' softbound book is older and out of print (if I recall correctly). I am...
