Re: Eugene's log

Anyways my goal is to do Crossfit and Zone for one...

Eugene's log

To be honest, I'm extremely embarrassed to write a log next to some of you guys, but I really want some accountability. Even if people don't write here, I feel like I'll be pressured just by posting...

Re: The Zone - Cut the fat when trying to shed it?

I have a question that always comes up in discussions about zone diet with my friends. Doesn't undigested fat end up in adipose fat tissue? I did a little research and I found two sources that told...

Re: Zone Diet?

I guess for me I don't know if it's Zone or Crossfit because I started them both at the same time. But yeah I do feel like I have greater mental clarity, more energy, and stamina when I'm playing...

Re: Zone Diet?

OK. I guess this is a pretty dumb thing to argue. I just wanted to give perspective, but regardless I am still going to follow the Zone just because I don't know any other better diet. I don't know....

Re: Zone Diet?

I know I am a lot weaker than the people who put their benchmarks up publicly, but again that shouldn't discount my opinion and neither should it affirm their opinion. It's the content of the opinion...

Re: Zone Diet?

Well OK. I see you're pretty passionate about this, but I still don't think it's a good idea just to look at the facts that agree with the Zone and dismiss the ones that don't, which was one of the...

Zone Diet?

I know CrossFit totes the Zone and Paleolithic diets as a good nutritional lifestyle to supplement athletic performance, but I'm always quite skeptical of diets, so after about two months on the...

Re: more questions. thanks for helping.

I'm not sure what that L-sit active flexibility drill looks like. Is there a video or picture somewhere I can take a look at?

Also, today when I was doing front squats my wrists really really hurt...

Re: more questions. thanks for helping.

Wow. I just watched the videos and looked up HIIT. That was a lot of help. I really appreciate the advice. I think I'll supplement WODs with HIITs in the morning, practice kipping at WODs, and...

Re: more questions. thanks for helping.

I don't have a place to hang the rings. I only have the university gyms nearby. One more question. I'm not flexible enough for L-sits. Should I just stretch my hamstrings so I can get my legs up?

Re: I got questions

HOLY CRAP. I just tried touching my toes and I couldn't get my fingertips past my knee. Maybe I should go see a chiropractor or something. My hamstrings don't feel that sore. It's mainly my upper...
