Re: 5/3/1 and Crossfit questions from Wendler

Kelly -

1. How many days a week are you running the 5/3/1?
2. Are you doing any assistance work in addition to the 5/3/1 lifts and three metcons per week?

Thanks for any replies.

1. On what days are you doing each of these?
2. Are you using sets across or sets ascending for your strength days?

Re: strength twice a week

Not a direct answer, BUT, Coach Rut has advocated in his recent MEBB routines adding a Posterior Chain Move (P-Chain Move) at the end of each session. See an outline of the 3 day template he's been...

Re: Smith Machine Squats vs. Extensions/Curls

Such a strange, strange circumstance.

Reading your workout log it looks as though you've got access to dumbbells. I'd rely heavily on those, but it is unfortunate that you can't find a solution and...

Re: Valhalla 2009

With 15 workouts total 2 days sounds reasonable.

OR

You could make it for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND....

Re: Battle of the Theorys is pure crossfit the best

While we await this article, can you describe how this methodology differs from the several MEBB templates and articles that Coach Rutherford has published?

Re: Novice looking for training advice (strength and conditioning)

100% CrossFit may actually suit you here (CF plus Zone that is)

If you're liking the SS though and aren't wanting to drop it, you'll likely need to switch at some point to accomplish your body...

Re: How often do you screw-up a WOD?

Funny things happen when you're hypoxic bro.

I have trouble counting reps mostly. But writing the WOD out in your log (which you're hopefully keeping) helps if you're bringing it to the gym with...
