During a busy time of year, CF vendors are definitely gearing up for Regionals......so reaching out asking for donations for a fundraising event were met with lots of, "oh sorry we can't help right...

Hey all.
Would love your thoughts on this:
For the past few weeks occassionally throughout the day my left knee will sort of buckle underneath me while walking. It seems to happen mostly after...

Re: Getting Customized Affiliate Apparel
I think this is a good concept but constructive feedback, I would use 50/50 or tri blend tees and drop your pricing. I'd have to charge $30 for a tee or tank to make any money.

Re: 2013 Open, Regionals and Games Thread
Really wish this WOD was regular pull ups.....I can butterfly all day but not C2B.
I would have loved to see some sort of progression of skill. Like first increment would be pull ups, second...

Re: Reducing FRAN
I would scale the thrusters to a weight you can do unbroken. I have a respectable RX time for a woman (4:54) but did my last Fran with 55 lbs cus I was pretty certain I could go unbroken and did. ...

Re: What New Movements Will We See This Year?
Yes, in 2011 there was an OHSQ/bar facing burpee WOD.

I think the skilled...

Re: Bar size
Yes, get the Bella bar. It is a great bar. We have some smaller men who prefer to Oly lift with it because of the smaller diameter......easier to hook grip.

Re: Winning the warm up
Your warm up should not be anyone's work out in my opinion, and I see this vary greatly from box to box.
I don't think pull ups, burpees, box jumps and the like belong in any warm up.

Re: Keeping the mats clean
I use Simple Green Professional. It is a disinfectant/fungicidal/virucidal cleaner. Staph and ringworm are crazy contagious so I would definitely recommend something like this over just soap.

Re: Catering to regular folks?
I think "regular folks" are the bread and butter of most GF gyms. We only opened in Sept abd are up to about 60 members and our retention has been vary good. I pride myself in our programming,...

Re: Implementing teens in regular classes
I think it really depends on the child and your programming. I have two 15-16 year olds that come with their parents to our beginner classes and do not want to participate in our teen class.
At...
