Re: Reebok CF Performance Tri-blend SS top fit question.

Awesome, we are the same size.

Thanks guys for the input and the warning. None of the Reebok stuff has really ever appealed to me, but I have the 25% discount code from my Level 1 Course and...

Re: Looking for a Box in Clarksville TN

I haven't lived there in a little over a year but there are really only 2 gyms in the area. All links WFS:

1) http://crossfitconversion.com/ (http://crossfitconversion.com/) - I don't think she is...

Re: Shoulder pain has me stumped

Medical help would be the best thing, and an MD would probably do some tests, call it impingement, and send you to a PT. You can look up how to palpate the superspinatus (probably this one),...

Re: How tight should the IT Band Be?

Ideally, if you are laying supine with your hip and knees at 90 degrees of flexion, the muscles that flex your hip should allow you to lower a leg off the edge of the table and the back of your thigh...

Re: Addressing Part of the Anthos Video

Legally, can this video be used against them if they are lying? Do they know that? Would a VC that handles millions of dollars know that?

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

We actually just made the exact same point. I was speaking in the event of worse case scenario and if it comes to the point of affiliates actually leaving CF. The top ones can still prosper because...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I agree with this 99%. I would think the top 1/3 of affiliates don't need a HQ to be successful. They already have clients, a sound business plan, and a foothold in their community to continue to...

Re: Lazy man's baked sweet potato recipe?

I usually bake 2-3, cut them in 1/2, and put them in a container in the fridge. I usually eat them cold and plain. I recently started mixing them with baked chicken and cheese. Actually tastes really...

Re: At what point are lifting shoes a good investment?

Another plug for the Adidas. I have had the Ironwork III for a few years (same pair) now and I like them. At the time I was working out in a globo so I wanted a shoe that looked "regular." They are...

Re: Rogue Customer Service Rude ?

I agree with both of you 110%. I've worked in several service industries and I've worked in management, and I refuse to believe that just because someone is working on the customer service side of...

Re: Military Boot Running

How are you at running in running shoes? Times/pace/distance whatever? And I assume you can do 60 minutes without your feet falling asleep?

Re: How much running?

Is that comparing apples to apples? I read that and I think, "Okay, ultra-marathoner, probably runs faster than average, below average strength, a sled makes him stronger, dropping mileage probably...

Re: How much running?

Yeah I'm not saying the sled stuff doesn't work, but why reinvent the wheel? 400's and 800's 1-2 times a week, then retest. This is personal experience, but I feel that the difference between 14:00...

Re: Carded

I've worked in bars/restaurants and usually the "rule" is to card anyone that looks under 35. Sorry!

Many times, women get carded more as a compliment. There have been times when I carded a women...

Re: Seen at the globo yesterday

Saw two guys going to a racquetball court, both wearing jeans, one wearing sandals. The one with sandals looked like Randy Daytona, so my money was on him to win.

Re: 2011 NBA Playoff Thread

You love to find a single stat and make some wild claim off of that one stat. Or you just regurgitate what you hear on Sportscenter. What were the odds of them winning this year? This site says...
