Re: Specialty Seminars...are they worth it?

I've done a few specialty courses and I've found it is largely based on the instructors. I did Oly Lift and thought it was great at the time, but a week later I felt like it was a waste. It was 1...

Re: Best source to find a box location

I was looking on the affiliate map on CFHQ. You're going to have a hard time on Long Island though. It seems like there is a new affiliate opening every week. I go to a box in Merrick, NY and...

Re: Video Camera Suggestion

I'm curious to see what camera you end up with. Last year I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DZ122E/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i01 For the same purposes. It's a decent enough camera but the...

Re: Is paleo hard to follow ?

Paleo has kind of a good, better, and best system. The best being the grassfed/organic/pastured/wild-caught/sustainable/etc but there are other tiers that will still improve overall health and most...

Re: What is inflammation, exactly?

As I understood upon initially viewing K-star's video it was more a focus on muscle inflammation as a part of the natural muscle recovery process.

I haven't seen the Zone video but The Paleo...

Re: Stronger Healthier Faster

I used their fish oil for a while and pretty much echo what everyone else is saying. Decent quality, but the price exceeds the quality. I moved to PurePharma after and found it to be pretty...

Re: venting...

With the sheer volume of people getting their L1 and venturing off the coach athletes there is sure to be some bad apples. I encourage anyone who takes L1 to pursue other courses as well, not even...

Re: Crossfit on Biggest losers

I thought it was total BS as well. I can understand the not using the Crossfit name but they could have at least introduced the athletes. Why were they even there? Bob said "these are some of the...

Re: WOD For a Hero

I believe our box owners are talking to CF people about creating a hero wod in his honor. From what they've told me it's a pretty in-depth process.
