As others have said, make sure you've got suitable rest between exercises and set, you may need more than 5 minutes and that's fine.

Preemptively, I am aware that I wonít be doing starting strength exactly as written. I bought the book, Iíve read it repeatedly, I respect the hell out of Coach Rip and immensely enjoy his posts...
