Re: deadlift PR

I agree. I'm excited to try a 5-3-1 (1-1-1...) again in a few weeks to see what my true max is. I definitely felt gassed by the time I got around 250.

We did the following WOD: 10x40%1RM, 5x65%, 5x75%, 3x85%, 1x95%, 1x100%. I lifted under the assumption that...

Re: Want to see my abs!

Get out! Hey, just kidding.
I don't think Mr. Wolf is talking about pounds and pounds of rolls and lard and spare tires. Its true though that the body will store calories as fat under times of...

Re: Help...loosing too many weight

Milk seems to be a quick and easy way to add calories for most. Other possibilities include: cheese, nuts, avocados, butter, oils.

Re: help please - not losing ANY weight!

Definitely eat more. It seems counter-intuitive, I know, but it's a lot more than calories in = calories out. I did a month strict paleo, didn't lose any weight. Then I added in a litre of whole milk...

Re: Experience with Starting Strength

Is this the general situation? I'm considering adding SS into my routine but am hesitant to give up crossfit. Guess I can't have it all. Anyone had any luck with a 50/50 program? Maybe 2 wods and 2...

Re: My 30 Day Strict Paleo Challenge - Day 7 - Got Some Questions

You said yourself that you've drastically changed your diet less than a week ago. Change what goes in one end, change what comes out the other.
From my experience it'll settle itself out in a few...

Re: I have failed at getting ripped for 5 years..please help!

Re: The Primal Blueprint Cookbook

I think Sisson allows for a few things not found in a strict paleo diet, like milk and other dairy.

Re: paleo "change your life in 30 days"

This is how I feel about coffee when I break down and drink some! I always wish I hadn't had it.

Re: I have failed at getting ripped for 5 years..please help!

If you want to up your lifts you gotta up your calories. Lose the obsession with mainstream dieting ideas (eat less, lose weight). How about work out more, lose weight; eat when hungry, until full...

Re: Too much of a good fat?

Peanuts are legumes, not nuts. Not paleo.

I've heard macadamias have the best fats, but I've never tried them. Everyone seems crazy about them, and almonds. I guess I would say don't over do it...

Re: paleo "change your life in 30 days"

I've been on for a month (cheated here and there, about once a week) and haven't lost a pound. :(
But I'm noticing new definition in my musculature so I must be adding mass and losing fat. Works for...

I couldn't agree more about the endless possibilities of eggs in the morning.
I used to skip breakfast everyday but since going paleo I've done eggs with bacon and/or sausage every single day. I'm...

Re: Fixing my deadlift form - third attempt
