Sounds good Jay. I know what you mean about sweets, my friends are constantly snacking on candy and baked goods and it isn't even a temptation. Throw a pork chop my way and its all fair game.

Pete! How is your son doing now? Oh my, that sucks that he had to go through that.

Raisin bran, IMO, has always been extremely disgusting and nasty. I wouldn't even eat the stuff back when I did eat cereal.

It's always fun when Jay drops into a thread for awhile. :D

Hmm, the last two days were not sugar free, although they were grain free. Something about warm weather and ice cream :p

Later y'all!

(This is my happy dance :pepper:)

Well I fell off the wagon. Yesterday was one for the books. Fuddruckers, slice of cheese cake from the cheese cake factory and some sushi.

D**N, D**N, D**N, D**N.......................

Oh well back to it today!

I have been pretty good the last few days. I went out the affiliate (Torii) today and did Nancy. It is always motovating to me to get out with like-minded people and work hard!

BTW Amber shouldn't you be so close to coming home you can taste it?

That's because REAL food looks good to you. Check out this blog post (safe) about "Reprogramming your food recognition software." I'm getting there: I still look longingly at pizza and ice cream, but it's getting better.

Cool blog post Murray, thanks.

People definitely think I've "given up" cereal and sweets, but at a point you feel like you've lost nothing

I'm not anti fruit-veggies, I've just cut back on intake, prefer fat and protein.

Obviously that won't work for everyone, but that's fine, as long as it works for ME.

Eat clean, no processed foods, buy local, I really don't sweat the Vit/Mineral stuff.
Jay - that is awesome, obviously you know your body and what works for you. :)

Also, I followed some links for your page and I found some local farmer's markets here that I am super excited to buy food from! I LOVE farmer's market's. :notworth:

Murray - thanks for the re-post of the blog. It is so true. Real food does taste significantly better. And I feel good all the time when I eat it... that is until I put $**t in my mouth. I always regret it.
