Aussie, Aussie, Aussie...!

How cool! I just can't picture my grandma hoisting 1 1/2 times her bodyweight off the ground...

Dave Clarke 06-08-2005 01:00 AM

Oi! Oi! Oi!

Hone, are you another Aussie?

Dave in Melbourne

Pat Janes 06-08-2005 06:11 PM

Hone is a kiwi living in Melbourne, I think. From memory...

Hone Watson 06-08-2005 11:52 PM

Hi Dave,

Pat is right. Still living in Melbourne.

Looking forward to the Lions tests Hone? Should be a good series, although I fancy your lot to win it!

Tom Schneitter 06-09-2005 12:40 AM

British Lions taking a trip through New Zealand whilst matching up with he New Zealand All Blacks. I will have to set aside time to watch the games at my favorite local Scottish pub. Another round of Caledonia 80, please?

Peter Galloway 06-09-2005 01:30 AM

Glad to hear it, Tom! You get to watch them at a reasonable hour, too, unlike us poor saps who have to get up at 8 am! I normally enjoy a beer or two while watching rugby, but 8 am is too early for me!

Anybody interested in rugby should not miss the three game series between the British Lions and the New Zealand All Blacks (first game is 25th June 08:10 BST). Apart from the world cup final there is no bigger occasion in world rugby. The intensity and atmosphere will be unreal.

Don Stevenson 06-16-2005 11:50 PM

In contrast anyone interested in Rugby should NOT watch Samoa play the Wallabies.

I went to the match last weekend and Samoa got thumped 74 - 7

Back on topic....

These types of stories have two effects on me. Firstly i feel impressed by the people involved and congratulate them on their achievement.

The second feeling is frustration and an urge to tear some of my clients into little pieces.

I don't get to choose some of my clients (subcontractin) and these people would faint if i gave them anything close to a heavy weight or a real session.

Recently i've had complaints from people i asked to do 5 x 15 squats and from people who don't like burpees
