very inspiring! how many days/week are you training dl's? i'd like to get mine up. i'm only going heavy 1x week.

btw, before i moved and feel out of the cf loop, anthony had posted he had a goal for his dl by years end. i dont remember what the weight was, but did he get it?

Re: New Deadlift PR

Jodi hasn't been doing heavy deadlifts on a regular basis for awhile. Just felt like them tonight, so she went for it. I think maybe 2 sessions in the past month? One was in the CF Total that came up not long ago.

Unfortunately, I did not reach my goal of 585. I was on pace, but it got side tracked when I competed in the highland games and then we moved into our new house (the very next day) ... never recovered quick enough to get back on track. So I decided to take a break and I'll give it another run next year.

nice going, jodi!

derek, don't cry. go and DL. i'm pretty sure jodi (and anthony) are hard workers, and that's the payoff right there, in that video.

Congrats, Jodi.

Oh, don't worry. I'm getting quite good at what I do work at - that just happens to not be deadlifts at the moment. But point taken - I'll go pick up more heavy stuff.

Great work on the deadlift, Jodi. You'll hit 300 well before I ever do.

anthony... you better get back on track with those dl's or jodi will soon be giving you a run for your money!
