I am new to the crossfit program. I have done two WOD's. I have been doing some split body part weight training for the last two months. Do you think it would be all right to do the WOD's and still do the weight training? I am wondering if I won't give my muscles enough rest time or maybe my body will adapt and get stronger and tougher?
Thanks for advice and reccomendations....

I recommend using the WOD for your primary workouts, and perhaps additional weight training only to work on your weak points. For example.. I follow the WOD, but will throw in some additional squats now and then, because my legs/hips aren't up to Crossfit standards. Hope this helps.. and welcome aboard.

Ok, good point. I will try that on my lunch break today. First, WOD, then chest and tri's with what time (and strength) I have left.
