Done this one a couple of times now over the months. Its a good one. Had to go lite on DL and did Situps as my hip was screeming. |

Patrick, Nice WOD! I'm always wary of any WOD with rest in it - the longer the rest, the worse it tends to be! :D

patrick...sorry to hear of you loss....91 is a good old age though....i can only hope to make it there and still have quality of life....
monday.....forced rest day....was susposed to be moving day at the gym.....wife and i went there to help and they did not get one inspection so we had a day off.... tuesday.... 10,000 m. row 45:59.7 moving day at the gym....amazing how much stuff can get moved in a short period of time by 50 or so motivated people.... today.....guess they should have gone a bit slower with the move...went to the gym and myself and another powerlifter felt it was like easter when we found a plate we were looking for....i gave up after pin press and narrow bench press....i spent an hour helping organize and lift and move stuff so i guess i got my work out in.... 45 minute dog walk.... |

Bill- Burpee Box jumps are tuff!! your mind is really working after a "crash" on the box like you had. Better go 20" or less.... steps ups maybe. I do it all the time.
Cliff- Thank you, I hope to make to 91 too!! Great job on the 10K rowing. Once my Hip feels better I'm going to give it a shot. Maybe 5K first :D 1/25/2017 Did Yoga Class this evening. Worked on breathing and we did some balance stuff too. Signed up for 10 more sessions. Going to give Yoga a 15 session "try" I just relax when they start hummming.......not that far into it.:notworth: |

The KTEs were the choke point. This was about 15 min slower than my last attempt on 29 Jan 15. I did stop on the 4th round when my buddy came by with some parallels, a punching bag, and the dip bars from our box's original pull up rig! Pretty cool![/I] [B]Evening:[/B] 1 mi dogwalk 10 Pull ups 10 KBS Dead lift: 5 @ 120# 5 @ 150# 5 @ 180# 3x8 @ 150# |

Had 19in in last 3 wks. 60 SU 15 Pushups 60 SU 15 Pull-ups 60 SU 15 Air-Squats 60 SU 15 Situp Strength Work up to a heavy Split Jerk Took it easy worked up to 115lb Split Make up Conditioning 7 min Amrap By yourself or with a partner / Did Partner 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-24 Reps of Power Clean 135/95 Front Squat Pull Up / KB Swing Toes 2 Bar / K2E 3 min Rest then 7 Min Amrap 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-24 Reps of Hang Clean 135/95 Shoulder to Overhead Burpees / Doubled sit-ups for me We got 162, not bad for a couple of old guys!! Would have been more fun if my Hip was not hurting...... |
