See now you are just making me feel bad after I had the biggest cheat WEEK ever last week!

To echo what Camille said, whatever you are doing is obviously working well for you. Even the most OCD of us don't eat clean all the time, and we also can't get new PRs every time.

I wish I could say I had a 7:00 "Fran" time! ;) Way to bring it, regardless of breathing problems. I know how bad that sucks.

Thanks Melissa, you are one of those people I marvel at. You have a great log. I could never eat like you. i eat so much!!LOL

Thanks on the fran time. Yea breathing was a major issue. i had to stop to breath more than tiredness. I had to stop on the pullups because I couldnt get a breath, not because I couldn't do them!!

But like I said, I got a good workout from it, so I'm happy.

I decided not to hold it overhead after practising a few runs, too many people getting in the way, A lot harder than I thought it would be, I really regretted getting that damn KB on about round 3!!!

I don't know, you could hug that bell. I had a curl bar with 25lbs plates, I couldnt hold it to chest it was to big and aquard, I put it on one shoulder 10 steps, then the other 10 steps.

I hope you did not do 20 steps per round, as it sounds like it Nik, it should of been 5 each leg. Good work for using the curl bar concoction

NO 10 steps total. Thanks, you do what you have to to get it done!!

Brady didn't like the idea of swinging the contraption ,as big as it is, down there!! So he decided to wear our 30lbs weight vest and use a 40 lbs DB to cary and swing. He was lunging 70 lbs!!!

I told him if he used the 40 I was going to use 60lbs to carry his weight. So I think that is why he used the vest. AHH peer pressure!!!(I'm glad I didn't go 60lbs)

Nice work, Nik! That's so cool that you got your son in on the action.

So, you want me to time 50 straight GHDs? I've done 50 straight but never timed them.

Thanks, but I am starting to see that it is skill more than strenth that is the hold back. I'm happy though, I am learning.

Yes I have the strength but no skill, yesterday I done something like a Reverse Barbel Curl at the top of the deadlift, mainly because I was being careful. It will get better, one day there will be a Oly Cert near me.

Nik,
Awesome clean and jerks yesterday! I feel you on the technique though. I'm getting better but I know that's what holds me up most of the time.

Ready for some DU's? My time is going to be horrific today! I suck at DU's.

Re: Nik

Well Double under trainig started this morning. 20 double unders, I only go 2 in a row, I will do more later seeing that it is a rest day.I am banging my knees together, I have to stop, my knees are sore. I guess I turn my toes in, which I do when I walk.

Any one who has double unders more than 3 in a row, please chime in, any help and advice is welcome.
