Can anyone please tell me what the best beans are for getting into tip top shape???? I driver a van all day and don't earn much :-( so I don't really want to pay the earth for the beans.

Dave,

I think most of the people on this site are down on beans. The reasons are complex. If you do eat beans, soy beans have the most protein. I make my own tofu from time to time, and it is really good.

Tuna is usually pretty cheap, and I eat a LOT of that, as well as Kipper Snacks and Sardines. You can get them pretty cheap at Wal-Mart. You can also get egg whites pretty cheap at [url=http://www.goodegg.com]www.goodegg.com[/url] . I eat a lot of regular eggs too. If you work this program hard, you'll need quite a bit of protein. I think most people would probably benefit from at least 75-100 grams/day.
