I'm not familiar with the science or data behind massage therapy, and I'm sure many will say it's not really therapy rather it's just for relaxation. However... I just had a professional massage at lunch, and I feel like a million bucks! My mid-morning headache went away, and my stiff neck feels several shades better.

Worth the money.. wish it was cheaper, I'd get one more often.

There are clear signs of increased recovery rate and other benifits with massage. It increases blood flow, reduces stress, and heck, just feels good. Can we include a personal maseuse as part of the Crossfit philosophy? :-)

Amen... I'm getting another one tomorrow!

I'd prefer a masseur...

There is a pretty good class at UCSD... rec. class that covers basic massage.

So Brad, would your experience count as a "Happy Ending?"
Sorry, couldn't resist. Apologies in advance!

As a tangent to this thread, anyone ever tried Trigger Point Therapy? Has not failed me yet in relieving low back aches.
