Five rounds for time of:
135 pound Back squat, 20 reps
Handstand walk 20 yards

as RX'd
time 23:27
all squats unbroken
hand walking a mess, fell a few time ect,ect as it goes. actually set 4 and 5 were my best sets on my hands.

squats were good. set 2and 3 really tough. I hit them breathless from the walking, but it was ok, I used it to manage the reps. Set 4 and 5 on the squats it was all just to keep going. I so wanted to stop but I knew in my head I didn't NEED to, it wass just really hard, so i was able to push through.

last time
subbed wall walk 60reps per round.

Time 16:29

SHANE whats up man?! Thanks on the squats. I'm really addicted to it right now. I did the 3 rep max the other day from the mainpage and hit my 1 rep max for 3. So I'm really happy with it.

Well done for getting the handwalking done, I got to give it some practice today, as for squats, NO WAY, I done 500+ air squats in class last night and my knees know all about it.

You got the press done also and some extra squats, haha, crazy man, guess Martin is getting plenty of attention today, your all trained out.

Thanks Scott, I have to check out and see what you did last night, 500plus squats , WOW!

I'm a bit addicted to the heavy squats right now. I'm getting stronger from it all be it slowly, but it just seems that it just keeps going up.

Yea, Martin and I was out in the garage last night, I'd press hed press this little bar. Hed ask all kinds of questions. It was cool, hed make the ''pain''face as he pressed like I'd make.

I was THINKING of maybe doing the volume training, but I'm not sure how the shoulders will hold after walking on my hands and the press. Maybe I'll scale it back a bit on the volume training and go ,1,2 like Lucas.

Re: Nik

The volume training will be good even scaled back as its not about going to your maximum anyhow , just getting a lot of good form reps done. Im impressed with your squat numbers going up and up , mine have not gone up much on the front squat, although I am going to push on with it until they do.

Thanks Scott on the squats. I think it is for two reasons it is going up. First I have never worked the squat much so it can only go up. Second the way I'm going about it seems to work well for me. I hit a peak set of 5(as you know) and say last week I hit 280lbs(127k) so now I go back down to 260lbs(117.9k) and build back up to 290lbs and so it goes. It has worked well and if it keeps gaining and I don't stall or stop going at it I see 300lbs x5 pretty soon.
