No matter if you have RX or scaled division there is always going to be someone on the top and someone on the bottom.

But as many have mentioned they should not really be hitting those really big weights.

But you must remember that person has made a decision to go scaled and we need to respect that.

I am in the scaled division 45-49 and I can do T2B with no problem but my problem is the snatch! I have a dodgy shoulder that I have had problems with for 6-8 weeks now and it is getting better but the snatch always pushes my recovery back a week or two so I decided to go scaled as I get can get the bar from ground to overhead without allot of trouble. I want to recover and take part, so I am taking the safe side... I will be 100% next year and then I will go Rx.

Plus why are we taking part.... its not for anyone else, its for ourselves and our goal :)
Btw someone has posted a #390 Jerk. #235 for the women atm which is still about #20+ off Camille's best.
I've only ever heard of/seen Camille jerking 255-265 as far as i've seen her max C&J is 240
^This. We have lots of people who can do knee raises all day but no TTB. The last 30% of the full movement is pretty tough for most people.
But do you have anyone with a 225 C&J and a 4:30 Fran time who can't do a TTB?

No. These are completely unrelated. I was saying it's believable for someone to get a high score with knee raises but not be proficient with toes to bar. Clearly someone doing Fran Rx under 5 minutes should be in the Rx division.

It raises a very interesting discussion. A female at my box is awesome. Not super strong but cycles intermediate barbells like a champ. Great engine, can burpee and box jump and double under until the cows come home. She has all the requisite skills EXCEPT....muscle-ups. She actually has recently "gotten" them - meaning, she can occasionally get a single, but some days, all misses, so she doesn't really "have" them. One perspective could say, she should do Rx (which she is, and is the obvious direction), but another perspective would say, "well, if you don't have MU, you're going to be SOL when it comes up, so go scaled."

She's a little more black and white, but clearly some people will be very grey; potentially really good, above average, skilled in many, many areas, but maybe missing a couple advanced movements, which encourages scaled (where they'd torch the rest of the field). I guess it just comes down to, that's why 1 rep of Rx ranks above any scaled score. That's fine if you want to drop to scaled because you don't have, or are afraid, of a move, but it will leave you out of the race to compare yourself to any and everyone in Rx.

Looks like Froning changed his mind about not redoing the workout. He's back in #1 with 226 on 15.1 and 350lbs on 15.1A

Wow.. I thought that HQ thought of everything. Usually they are so decided and ready for anything. Some people had to re do the workout because they gamed it.. meaning just did one rep on 15.1 then a monster c and j.

Plus Scaled or RX.. they should have dropped the hammer on the crowd and put muscle up, HSPU, pistols or something like that for people to check the right box. Now many people are in the RX and when MU come they go back to staring at the rings...

The other way of thinking is that many people do get their first mu in the open.

Guess we will leave it up to the braintrusts at HQ

Rich F- 2 more reps and 4#.. going to be interesting seeing him on a team that is not at the top. He still is as competitive as ever.

Would not want to be the person on his team that lets him down.. many choices to pick from.. granted they are all beasts but not the caliper of a winning team.

We will see.

Currently 8th in the world and 1st in the region. Two games athletes from last year. Looks like they lack depth with girls but they have 3 solid guys.

Why am I being forced to register for the Games to get access to the games site? I can't find any way to bypass the login/registration page. I could this morning, but now it goes right to the login page.
