Meal Replacement vs Protein Shake
I try not to focus too much on supplements but I want to hit the basics. I am a hard gainer and I pretty much just eat to feel good and get stronger. I try to have a protein shake after working out. Usually I use a whey protein powder but recently I’ve switched to Lean Body Meal Replacement since it adds in carbs and fats.
I don’t think I’m that in tune with how my supplements affect me or I would just go with what feels best. So I would just fall back on what nutrition science says is best. What do you guys recommend for a post workout recovery shake? I would think the extra carbs and fats are helpful in refueling but I’m also having a meal with it. |
