I'm ok, still a little sore but ok. I'm real tired today, and didn't want to get out of bed, but some of that is lack of sleep and diet over the weekend.

I don't get much sleep over the weekend, and I don't eat near enough and end up binging on chochlate and crashing because of lack of calories.

I'll be careful. Every day I drink as much as I can just to combat dehydration. Befor 12:00 noon, I dring at least 3 32oz glasses of water, one of which is "smart water" with electrolites. But it is still tough.

Five rounds for time of:
135 pound Thruster, 15 reps
Run 400 meters


Sub, sub, sub. Not timed sucked

Subbed 100m lunges
subbed 115lbs thrusters
Timer stopped at 8:23 I think .

I had the whole familly wirth me. Firest Cathy did a workout I set up for her.
Barry my oldest was kind of messing with stuff like teenagers do.

Martin on his trike.

Well I sucked this one up.
Lunges made the thrusters really hard, I couldn't do 15 reps of 135 at all. 1145 was bad enough, and the timer stopped mid workout.

I was dragging bad on the workout with no energy. I hope it was lack of sleep and calories. (5 hours)

That and I got a small dose of what it must be like for you who go to golbo gyms. My oldest kept walking by real close when I'd be doing the thrusters. And kept talking to me.

It was a rough session. I put it behind me and will go at todays fresh.

I'll catch up with everyone in a bit.

totally understand, Nik... sleep and diet are key, never mind having the family talk to you and interrupt. I really don't like to talk when I am in a WOD.. very distracting. Great job pushing through. :highfive:

Ok I took a bad turn yesterday. Camille it is funny and almost scary how canny your post was on overheating.

I overheated yesterday got weak wasn't sweating much felt dizzy. I went hom for an early lunch and came back up and felt the same again, and took the day off.

I had Cathy go to our local bike shop but they wont have ant endurolites till Friday. He gave her pickel juce, and I drank a couple of bottles of gatoraid. I hope to be ok today. We will see.

Needless to say I didn't workout yesterday and doubt I will today just to be sure I'm ok. I don't want to push anything right now.

Heck I'm not even sure I'm ok to be here now. We will see.

Sounds real scary Nik, you make sure you get rested and keep out of that heat as much as you can. How hot is it right now in Texas?

I'm doing everything I can to be careful. It jusr=t sneaked up on me.

It is currently 97 degrees or 36 F. not as bad as it has been, the humidity is down right now, I'll be careful. I'm drinking gateraid which I usually don't because of the sugar, but I will deal with the extra sugar for the electrolites. Friday I should get the good Endurolites from my bike shop and thyat should be all right. No FGB for me today.

But I did get 30 GHD's this morning to wake up my back.

Dang nik sorry to hear about the overheating! That could also be a sign of you getting sick. Do you feel cold like symptoms or did u just get over a cold? Well keeping chugging on that Gatorade and water until you feel back to normal. Perhaps a week off would do u real good.

He's already hit some GHD's , dont think your gonna get a week off out of him Ernie!! Hope there's no illness on its way to you Nik.

Thanks mkan, I am on the gatorade, and I am not doing the FGB, but I may do a lift just to keep my body from getting sore. I'll take it a day at a time.

I'll live through you and your workout. So you have to kill it for me.
