Weighted Cindy
 
So, today I tried Cindy with a 20lb vest on. I only did 10 minutes, mostly because it seemed like a good idea with the extra weight. I only got 8 rounds...crappy I know. I was just curious if as to whether or not I should have gone for the full 20 minutes. 10 minutes was tough, but I dont want to sell myself short. Any thoughts?

I don't see why you wouldn't go the full 20 minutes. Just don't expect to get near the same number of rounds as if you didn't use the vest.

Yeah, I definately shouldnt have stopped....Ill hit it for the full 20 next time. Thanks for the input.

We sometimes do a 10 minute version of Cindy... call it Mindy!

I think if I was doing it with a weighted vest - for the first time - I would likely do it for 10 minutes. Weighted pull ups and push ups are hell on your forearms and grip... 20 minutes of that could be agony.

Then again - the instructions for Murph say, "if you've got a vest wear it."

Maybe it's a mental thing, but I find the unweighted Cindy harder. With the regular Cindy speed is a big issue to attaining a high score. With the Heavy Cindy if you focus on speed you're going to get burned out really quickly.
