Quick update: still trying to get the numbers to cover the seminar fees for Rich. If you are interested in "alive" training and reality based self defense - and you live in the SF Bay Area (though we have some people coming all the way from San Diego!) this would be a great seminar to check out. Please pre-register so we don't have to cancel or reschedule!

Past Experience
I attended a two day Senshido seminar last year presented by Demitri and it was great. His reality-based concepts are easy to apply and effective, and he's a good presenter to boot.

He also tells some great stories, if you get the chance ask him about his student who was confronted by three guys in the snow, while he (and his girlfriend) were wearing snowshoes.

I'd highly recommend anyone interested in reality-based self defence to attend a Demitri workshop.

Re: Past Experience
Thanks Dean, hopefully we'll be able to pull it off. Rich has been getting a lot of exposure overseas, only been out to California one time before!

Re: Past Experience
The seminar for this Sunday, October 19th has been rescheduled due to personal reasons that affected air travel arrangements. The new training date is now November 16th, same time and place. (WFS)

Re: Past Experience
New seminar date is confirmed:

DATE: November 15th, 2008
TIME: 11:30am - 4:30pm
LOCATION: Muay Thai Academy International () (WFS) at 1500 Norman Dr., Santa Clara, CA
COST: $125.00 (Pre-Registration through PayPal)
$145.00 Cash (At the door)

After a last minute rescheduling, Rich has confirmed that he can make it out for another California seminar (the last one was over 3 years ago!), and we've got the space confirmed. So everything is a go!

Topics to be covered: The Shredder and Counter Knife Defense. How in-depth we get will depend on how up to speed the people attending are.

For more information, please head to (WFS)- where you can easily pre-register to reserve your spot!

This seminar will have a nice mix of sworn and non sworn trainees in attendance. As such, Rich will be covering his concepts in general terms, with emphasis being placed on your working environment once the class gets into scenarios. I firmly believe that Rich's concepts mesh seamlessly with law enforcement work and ever day life...whether you ride a desk, hang out in a cube, or push a patrol car, this training will save your hiney when needed.

Sorry for the previous rescheduling confusion. This date is all locked in and we are good to go!

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 11:39 AM.
