I am drawing up an equipment list to place into a business plan and proforma in order to obtain a loan. I called Ivanko to inquire about shipping charges when Adam offered to draw up an estimate for all of the strength and power equipment on the list. Adam mentioned a volume discount which sounds like a great break, and I'm hoping it will save a lot when all is said and done. Plus, it would be easier to order everything from one vendor as opposed to several different vendors. I was wondering how many affiliates have Ivanko gear, and what the quality is like? thanks for any and all comments.

I'm not a big fan of their bars. Seems like a common opinion on the board. The knurling is hyper aggressive and the spacing is non-standard.

I wanted to post my response to your inquiry in this format as someone else might ask about the pull up bar.

Cost: $1800
Length: 24'
Width: 5'
Height: Top Tube and cross bars: 8"
Height: Bottom Tube: approx: 7'7"
Crossbars: 24" Apart
Bartubes: 1 3/8" schedule 40 tube

Design: Sectional - I can add another 12' section by bolting it on if needed. (Let's hope)

I essentially copied Brand-X and CFSD with some minor changes. (Thanks Jeff and Eddie and Crews.)

My cost is a little high since I opted for powdercoating and the supplier was my second choice. I had a lower bid from a large welding and fabricator but I couldn't get the work done in schedule.

I vanko bars are great for powerlifting but i've got one and I never look forward to heavy cleans with it. The knurling is like a cheese grater and the spacing is a pain in the butt. I'm not complaining too much though because i got the bar for $100 from a guy who didn;t realise what he was selling!

Ivanko also advertise "Bumpers" but from what i've heard they are only really coated plates and they split if dropped.

I have heard that as far as durability is concerned Ivanko bumpers don't last long when compared to other brands. I think Josh Everett had some info regarding bumpers, might be worth a search.
